About the opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT professional to join our innovative and forward-thinking Technology department here at Everton Football Club. As a 1st Line Technical Support Analyst, you will assist the Senior Lead – Infrastructure & Cyber Security Manager in ensuring the maintenance, support, and proper functioning of the Club’s ICT systems. Other core responsibilities you will cover as part of this role include: Help Desk Support: Responding to and resolving user inquiries and issues via phone, email, or chat. Logging and documenting support requests in a ticketing system. Troubleshooting: Identifying and diagnosing hardware, software, or network issues. Offering step-by-step guidance to users for problem resolution. User Account Management: Creating, modifying, or deactivating user accounts. Assisting with password resets and access-related issues. Software Installation and Updates: Installing, configuring, and updating software applications on user devices. Ensuring compliance with licensing agreements. Hardware Support: Providing basic hardware support, such as troubleshooting computer peripherals. Coordinating with third parties for hardware repairs or replacements. Network Connectivity: Assisting users with network connectivity issues. Troubleshooting basic network problems, such as connectivity and access. Documentation: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of common issues and solutions. Creating user guides or knowledge base articles for common problems. Training and Education: Conducting basic user training on software and hardware usage. Educating users about IT policies and best practices. Remote Assistance: Providing remote support to users, especially in a distributed or remote work environment. Utilising remote desktop tools for troubleshooting and issue resolution. Escalation: Escalating more complex issues to higher-tier support teams when necessary. Collaborating with other IT personnel to resolve challenging problems. Customer Service: Delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a positive, helpful attitude. Keeping users informed about the status of their support requests. This position provides exposure to a broad range of IT-related projects and activities across the Club. Who we are looking for:
