Opera North is seeking to appoint a Co-Leader and an Associate Leader for the 1st Violins. The orchestra operates year-round in both opera and concert settings, based in Leeds. Applicants should submit a video recording and application by 10.59pm on Monday, 28th October 2024. The first round includes a video submission featuring the first movement exposition from a Romantic Concerto and other prepared extracts. Successful candidates will advance to an in-person audition, scheduled between November and February, which will require the first movement exposition from a Mozart Concerto. Trials will commence in November and include a chamber round for Co-Leader candidates.
