Description Full-time Staff Anesthesiologist positions are available in our growing academic department. More than 40,000 cases per year are attended including neurosurgery, major vascular, thoracic, cardiac, solid organ transplant, ambulatory, and obstetric anesthesia. In addition, the Department has a substantial role in critical care and pain medicine. Clinical time may be divided between the main operating rooms, other anesthetizing locations within the medical center, our owned community hospitals and office-based practices. We have a top-ranked resident training program with opportunities available to participate in multiple education programs and initiatives. There is also opportunity to collaborate in our ongoing basic, translational and clinical research programs with potential start-up funds available. This position holds an academic appointment at Harvard Medical School commensurate with credentials and experience. An exceptional compensation and benefits package is offered. Skills & Requirements: Requires a degree in medicine from an accredited school and is licensed to practice. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Works collaboratively with all HMFP Staff. Creativity and ingenuity are valued but adherence to established practice guidelines as set by governing boards is mandatory.
