About the Technology Team: The Development team is responsible for building out the next generation of highly scalable, reusable, and performant distributed services and applications for front office users. Collaborating with skilled professionals, you'll gain valuable exposure to microservices architecture, and open-source technologies while contributing to the creation of scalable solutions for front office operations. You will work closely with quant developers and middle office / back-office technology teams across London and New York. Responsibilities: Communicate with stakeholders to understand and analyse business requirements, ensuring alignment between technical solutions and business needs. Collaborate with engineering teams to craft best practice software designs, learning and contributing to industry-standard methodologies. Pair with developers to actively write code, conduct unit testing, and contribute to the development of software solutions. Provide support to troubleshoot and resolve issues, gaining real-time problem-solving experience. Engage with middle office and traders to gather feedback and ensure software meets their ongoing needs. Minimum Requirements: Full availability for the full 10-week duration of the internship from
23 June 2025 – 29 August 2025 . Full-time undergraduate degree in a quantitative subject or a related STEM field and be in their penultimate year, graduating in 2026. Demonstrated keen interest in the financial markets and technology, and the aspiration to work in the financial services industry. Proficiency in written, interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with diverse teams and stakeholders. Solid organisational skills, ability to multi-task, and thriving in meeting deadlines within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Solid programming skills in the following languages such as Python, Java or C#. Strong attention to detail. A curious mindset and a willingness to challenge the status quo. Displays and operates at the highest degree of ethics and integrity. Must be eligible to work in the UK.
