We have a truly mixed clientele and a rewarding and varied caseload. About the job, CPD, and about you As a keen graduate wanting to learn, you will bring enthusiasm and a hardworking ethic to a team looking to support and encourage your progression during this initial phase of your career. There will be in-house training and guidance through the VetGDP, plus enrolment on the XLVets New Graduate Development CPD programme. About the practice Fenton Vets is a proudly independent, Pembrokeshire-based practice that can trace its origins back to 1950. We serve both pets and farms via separate clinical teams, with a constantly growing staff of approximately 50, and we value staff wellbeing. About the location Pembrokeshire has the only Coastal National Park in the country and boasts a rich variety of activities, clubs, groups, and societies, especially for anyone loving the coast. About the package Days: 4.5 days per week (including the weeks when you work at the weekend) Hours: 8.30am-5.30pm unless on call when consulting finishes at 6.30pm OOH: this is an equally shared rota, with a nurse to back you up and phones answered by a handling service. Holidays: 5 weeks plus bank holidays, plus a reduced rota over the Christmas period Accommodation with own room in shared practice house, provided. No rent or house hunting!
