As the Architect, you'll play a key role in shaping architectural principles, standards, and reference frameworks, working closely with various teams and departments to design the WAN network architecture within a unified digital environment. Your mission will be to streamline tools, services, products, and processes across the organisation, ensuring that governance and control measures run smoothly. You'll also collaborate with multiple vendors and internal teams, contributing to the creation of a sustainable digital infrastructure. The role offers travel support, a 12-month contract, and a negotiable rate. Key Responsibilities: Define the target state architecture for the organization’s WAN Network environment, unifying various deployments into a standardized landscape using a consistent set of services and components. Contribute to technology selection and solution architecture decisions. Document and analyze the existing IT landscape, including applications, integrations, information architecture, business capabilities, processes, and technologies. Evaluate architectural designs to enhance solution delivery, supporting new or redesigned value propositions and products. Balance enterprise risk and agility in line with the organization’s global security practices. Key and Desired Skills: Strong communication and collaboration abilities Capacity to gain support in large organizations Excellent technical and analytical skills Proficiency in modeling and graphical presentation Willingness to collaborate and build trusted relationships Experience working with global and multi-cultural teams Innovative, team-oriented mindset with a can-do attitude Ability to work in testing environments Key Knowledge: IP Transport Core and Access Networks MPLS, SRv6 Expertise in IPv4 and IPv6 Data Center Switching Network Cloud Passive and Active Networks L2 and L3 protocols, IP routing, and Switching GPON and Enterprise GPON technologies, Fiber to the Room, Fiber to “Anything” Data Centre Network Design, including Cisco ACI Network Security Deep expertise in Cisco; familiarity with Huawei and HPE/Aruba as alternatives CCIE / CCDE certification levels Salary : Negotiable If you are interested in this opportunity, we encourage you to apply today!
