The Role
2D Production Lead will take ownership for delivery of departmental quality, plan adherence and productivity as well as managing Team Leaders, Operators and Technicians throughout the 2D Department.
Role responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ensuring the efficient running of production in the areas of responsibility through effective management of people, process and enforcing and upholding standards.
Management of individual performance, conduct and capability.
Responsible for reinforcing and driving 5s standards.
Being able to coach the Team against the IATF 16949:2016 Standard requirements, incl. CSRs and automotive core tools.
Requirements:
Proven experience in operational excellence in a manufacturing environment.
A formal qualification in Operational Leadership, Business Management, or similar is desirable.
Proven experience in effective Leadership & Management of people, process and projects.
Proven knowledge and experience of the automotive core tools, either AIAG or VDA variant: AQPQ, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA and 8D.
Excellent communication and time management skills.
