2nd Line Support Engineer About the Role Are you a tech enthusiast with a knack for solving problems and a passion for cutting-edge retail and hospitality technology? Our client is seeking a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join their team in Hemel Hempstead. This exciting role focuses on supporting EPOS, POS systems, kiosks, digital displays, and a range of other technologies essential to modern retail and hospitality environments. In this role, you'll ensure the seamless operation of technical systems, swiftly resolving issues and contributing to the overall success of their clients' businesses. This is a fantastic opportunity to work onsite in a collaborative, fast-paced setting. Key Responsibilities Provide 2nd-line support for EPOS, POS systems, kiosks, digital displays, and peripheral devices. Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and networking issues in retail and hospitality settings. Collaborate with 1st Line Support to handle escalations and deliver timely solutions. Perform maintenance, updates, and configuration of kiosks, digital signage, and other interactive technologies. Document solutions, share knowledge, and provide recommendations for system improvements. Liaise with third-party vendors for advanced troubleshooting or replacement of hardware and software. What We're Looking For Proven experience in a 2nd Line Support role, ideally within retail or hospitality industries. Strong technical expertise in EPOS, POS systems, kiosks, digital signage, and related hardware. Knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking, and peripheral devices. Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. A customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills. Availability to work onsite in Hemel Hempstead, 5 days a week. Why Join Us?
