MannaCare Cassia House is an NFP aged care facility with capacity for 90 beds, including a Memory Support Unit. We have experienced and long-term staff, easily accessible resources due to our location, and supportive clinical teams on-site daily to support the clinical care of our residents. We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse

12-month contract, 60 hours per fortnight .

The shifts will be Sunday & Monday 0700-1515 and Wednesday & Thursday 0700-1515.

This position requires a strong personality, shows great leadership, and can coordinate excellent clinical care. We need an RN who can work within the team supporting the staff, can speak clearly and precisely to families, has experience with care plan reviews and restrictive practice. There may be an opportunity after the end date of the contract to continue working. About You: Relevant nursing qualifications & AHPRA registration At least 2 years of relevant experience within residential aged care Experience providing care to those specifically with Dementia Experience with wound care, palliative care, behaviour management, assessments, and care plans Ability to complete care plan reviews in consultation with families and residents Comprehensive understanding of SIRS and Aged Care Quality Standards Strong and effective leadership skills Strong communication and computer skills Ability to supervise team members Passion for working with the elderly Additional education in Dementia is regarded but not essential Able to speak Mandarin and/or Cantonese but not essential In return, we will provide you with: Supportive and collaborative work environment Ongoing training A competitive rate of pay Salary packaging Employee Assistance Program Free onsite parking If this position sounds like it could be for you, apply now!
