Our client, an industry leader in providing high-quality 3D scanning solutions, specialises in cutting-edge technology from leading brands such as Zeiss and Artec 3D. They assist businesses across sectors including toolmaking, automotive, aerospace, medical, animation, heritage and conservation, design, and many more, transforming their processes with accurate, efficient, and flexible 3D scanning and 3D printing solutions and services.

This is an exciting opportunity for a 3D Applications Engineer to work hands-on with leading equipment, providing scanning services to clients both on-site and off-site. Additionally, you will support the hardware sales aspect of the business, assisting with product demonstrations and technical tasks in a dynamic and growing company that is part of a larger group of companies.

Responsibilities: 3D scanning of customer products and post-processing, including inspection and reverse engineering Assist with 3D printing to provide support during busy periods and holiday cover Represent the company professionally during customer site visits across the UK and Ireland, with occasional travel to Europe for trade events and training Deliver excellent customer service, building and maintaining strong client relationships Operate and maintain 3D scanning equipment from Zeiss and Artec 3D Prepare basic inspection reports and documentation for customer projects Conduct technical demonstrations of 3D scanning hardware to support the sales team as required Ability to travel throughout the UK and Ireland to meet customer requirements Follow up on quotes for service-related work activities Experiences required: ONC/HNC/HND or degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Engineering, Industrial Design) preferred, but substantial hands-on experience will also be considered Experience with inspection and reverse engineering is highly desirable Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving Clean UK driving licence (applicants must meet insurance criteria: over 21 years of age) Package: 40 Hours P/W Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5:30pm Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm 1 Hour Lunch 33 Days Holiday Inc.
