Merthyr Tydfil, Ebbw Vale, Aberdare, Pontypridd Industry:
Manufacturing Salary:
£30,000 - £35,000 Shift Pattern:
Days regular Duties: Will be expected to have a Degree in a suitable Mechanical discipline or similar, (or Time Served considered, but with at least 10 year's experience in this role. Must be highly experienced and knowledgeable in the use of AutoCAD 3D Inventor. Must have some experience of using other drawing platforms such as NAVIS Works, specifically to be able to transfer models between packages. Must be highly experienced in the design of static structures and to some degree dynamic structures. Must have experience of mechanical conveyor design (specifically belt and roller). Must have experience of designing machine guarding to the relevant standards. Must have experience in working with other materials other than steel, such as Plastics etc. Must have experience of mechanism design, using various types of motors and actuators (electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic), but only from a mechanical perspective. Experience of FEA Stress Analysis would be an advantage but not an absolute requirement. Candidate should have exceptional time keeping, be able to fully manage their own time, but also be able to work in a team to tight schedules. What is on offer?
