A Chambers Band 1 ranked global law firm is actively seeking talented mid-level associates (classes of 2019-2021) with significant M&A transactional experience, particularly in financial institutions transactions, to join its New York-based Financial Institutions Group. This opportunity is ideal for attorneys with exceptional academic credentials and a demonstrated ability to thrive in demanding law firm environments.

Key Responsibilities

* Transactional Advisory: Provide strategic legal counsel to clients on sophisticated M&A transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions, with a focus on the financial institutions sector. * Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence processes to identify and mitigate risks while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and contractual obligations. * Document Drafting & Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate complex transaction documents, including purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, and related corporate documentation. * Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients, building strong relationships to deliver tailored legal solutions that align with their business objectives. * Team Leadership: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including colleagues in regulatory, litigation, and tax practices, to provide comprehensive legal services.

Compensation & Work Environment

* Salary: The annual base salary for this position ranges from $310,000 to $390,000, depending on experience and expertise. * Hybrid Work Model: The firm offers a flexible work arrangement, with in-office work required from Monday to Thursday and remote work opportunities available throughout the year. * Supportive Culture: Join a collaborative environment that emphasizes teamwork, professional growth, and work-life balance.
