Ryanair Heavy Maintenance Material department has a fantastic opportunity to join our ever-growing team and be a part of the biggest airline in Europe. We are looking for someone to provide material support to our maintenance program. This role is open to all levels, from someone beginning their journey from college/university to a seasoned aviation professional looking for a change. Our Ryanair Material Controller will have the following responsibilities while overseeing and supporting the maintenance checks performed by an external MRO. Duties include but are not limited to:
Ensuring all material and part requests are processed with regular updates provided.
Ensuring all applicable costs are approved and purchased in a timely manner.
Attending daily meetings with onsite teams and MRO party representatives.
Ensuring all unserviceable materials and components are processed correctly and all returning Ryanair materials are processed in accordance with correct processes and procedures.
Confirming incoming shipments that arrive from Ryanair as required at the MRO, ensuring what has been requested has been sent and arrived correctly.
Liaising with the MRO stores teams to ensure deliveries arrive in good condition and are stored correctly in accordance with regulations.
Monitoring all shipments through transit, ensuring all arrive on time, and providing updates.
Fully responsible for the control, movement, and management of all RYR onsite materials at the external MRO.
Updating the RYR AMOS system when shipments arrive at the MRO base.
Updating the RYR AMOS system daily as RYR stock is consumed by the MRO base.
Ensuring RYR inventory checks are carried out frequently within the MRO.
Ensuring all parts and materials supplied to the MRO have the correct certification, printed off, and supplied before materials arrive at the facility.
We are looking for candidates who have a proactive, positive approach, the ability to work on their own initiative and without direct supervision. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, including proficiency in English, both written and oral. A can-do attitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage time and priorities are essential. Candidates must be willing to travel to the MRO base throughout the duration of the maintenance program and be team players who will go the extra mile. Strong problem-solving abilities and a strong knowledge of Microsoft packages/computer systems are also required.
