Position Overview:

The firm is seeking a highly motivated M&A / Private Equity Associate with 4-6 years of experience to join its dynamic and fast-paced M&A and Private Equity team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of significant domestic and cross-border transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and other strategic investments.

Key Responsibilities:

Advising clients on all aspects of M&A and private equity transactions, from initial structuring through to deal execution.

Leading due diligence efforts, drafting and negotiating key transaction documents, and managing all aspects of deal closings.

Collaborating with partners and senior attorneys on strategy and structuring for complex deals across multiple industries.

Engaging directly with clients, including private equity sponsors and corporate clients, to provide high-quality, commercially focused legal advice.

Managing multiple deals and responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Candidate Requirements:

4-6 years of M&A and private equity experience at a leading law firm.

Strong academic credentials and admission to the New York Bar.

Proven ability to manage complex transactions, with excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

A proactive, client-focused approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines.
