Description:
Support a 12-year-old autistic child with PDA profile to build confidence and access the community.
Hours:
2.5 - 5 per week. Days and times are flexible, support likely to be required mainly at weekends, but may also be during the week.
Wage:
£11.44 per hour
Duties: Building a relationship with the young person and gaining their trust in the home. Supporting the young person to go out in the community and engage around their interests. Assisting with personal care.
Essential Criteria: Experience of working with autistic children. Reliable, flexible, and trustworthy. Willing to work with another personal assistant when supporting the young person to access the community.
Training and support will be given.
Desirable:
Own transport and business insurance would be an advantage.
Note:
