We are seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our client's team on a 12-month contract. This position is outside IR35, offering flexibility and remote work, with occasional visits to Brussels. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and a strong background in designing, deploying, and securing cloud solutions.
Responsibilities:
Deliver cloud solutions with a focus on AWS, ensuring the efficient migration of applications and automation through third-party tools.
Design services aligned with business objectives, focusing on quality, compliance, risk, and security requirements.
Utilize containers and orchestration tools effectively.
Implement and maintain secure configurations for mainstream Linux operating systems.
Employ cloud logging, reporting, and monitoring solutions.
Develop and deploy micro-services architecture, ensuring robust design and instrumentation.
Work with a variety of application architectures and languages.
Skills:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in public cloud environments, covering:
Software migration and development (monolithic applications, microservices, etc.)
Designing and securing data-oriented solutions
Defining, reviewing, or executing cloud exit strategies
At least 3 years of experience with AWS in domains such as:
Cloud architecture and security fundamentals
Containers and orchestration
Networking
High availability design
Multi-cloud and serverless compute
Infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
At least 3 years as a DevSecOps Engineer, covering:
Infrastructure as code
CI/CD and pipelines (e.g., Gitlab)
Docker, Kubernetes
Automation scripting (Python, Perl, bash, or similar)
Linux management
Salary:
€500 per day
