An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed CAMHS/Adult Therapist to work in an exceptional mental health hospital based in the Wadhurst, East Sussex area. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading health care providers. This independent hospital specializes in the management and treatment of mental health problems. The hospital has residential facilities for patients, as well as offering outpatient services. To be considered for this position, you must be qualified and accredited as a CAMHS Therapist (e.g., HCPC registration, BABCP accreditation). As the CAMHS/Adult Therapist, your key duties include: Conducting comprehensive assessments and formulating individualized treatment plans for young people experiencing mental health difficulties. Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), family therapy, and other modalities. Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists. Engaging with families and carers to support the therapeutic process and facilitate positive outcomes. Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies. The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role: Demonstrated experience working within a CAMHS setting, preferably CAMHS outpatient service. Strong clinical skills in conducting assessments, delivering a range of therapeutic interventions, and managing complex cases. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to providing person-centered care and promoting the well-being of young people and their families. Willingness to adhere to professional codes of conduct and uphold ethical standards in practice. The successful CAMHS/Adult Therapist will receive an excellent salary of £38,000 – £44,000 per annum DOE. This exciting position is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours a week.
