AB Legal Solicitors (Nottingham) – Consultant Immigration Caseworker
Job Title: Level 2 Immigration & Asylum Consultant Location: Nottingham Salary: Competitive fee sharing arrangement. £206.50 – £504.40 per fixed fee case, £25.77 – £33.75 per hour for hourly rate cases Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis A great opportunity has arisen for self employed Level 2 Accredited Immigration Caseworkers to join a newly established Immigration Law Firm, AB Legal Solicitors, on a consultancy fee sharing basis. You will have your own caseload, consisting of private and legal aid work. Whilst an ability to source your own clients is an advantage, both legal aid and private work can be provided. To be considered for the Immigration Consultant Legal role, you’ll require the following: Accreditation to Level 2 under the Law Society Immigration and Asylum Accreditation scheme Ability to manage own caseload including asylum applications, asylum appeals in both the First Tier and Upper Tribunals, fresh asylum claims, extensions of leave to remain and entry clearance applications Excellent file management and compliance skills, including a high level of knowledge of the legal aid rules and Specialist Quality Mark in your day to day working Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to provide an excellent level of client care Highly organised and able to multi-task This role would be suitable for someone who is experienced in this field, looking to progress into a consultants role and increase their earning potential.
