Looking to kickstart an exciting career in technology? Roq's Academy is your gateway to a thriving future in Software Testing. Roq’s Academy is a structured, 15-month programme which includes 3 months of intensive training followed by 12 months on client projects. The training programme covers all aspects of testing with a specific focus on quality engineering. Within this programme you’ll complete the ISTQB Foundation in Testing, which is an industry-recognised qualification. Throughout your first 15 months of training, you will develop the skills and experience to become a fully-fledged Quality Engineer, including the ability to code and the utilisation of multiple software testing tools. You’ll be mentored by our own industry leading Quality Engineering experts who will be keen to share their extensive and diverse knowledge and experience with you. With a dedicated Career Support Manager and extensive training opportunities, you’ll be supported to continually develop as a Quality Engineering professional and future-proof your career in a competitive and skill-based profession. The Roq Academy is a fully funded training programme at no cost to you, whilst benefiting from a competitive salary from the day you join Roq, throughout the Academy programme and beyond. As an Academy Consultant you will learn how to: Produce test data under guidance Create and maintain detailed test cases Implement automated testing Execute test cases in alignment with the agreed test schedule Capture the test results/outcomes Highlight testing related issues and risks to appropriate stakeholders Raise defects, including capturing evidence and diagnostic information Work as part of a test team to deliver quality Utilise a consultant skillset via stakeholder management and commercial awareness Any other duties deemed necessary by the company WHAT WE LOOK FOR
