A leading branded fashion business specialising in accessories and footwear is looking for an Accessories Designer and Developer to join their team in working with top UK brands and retailers.

You will be responsible for staying up-to-date with design trends across all product areas, maintaining a strong understanding of the customer’s aesthetic, brand history, and seasonal direction.

You will oversee the development of products, whether designed by you or the customer, from concept to completion with factories, including liaising with customers on prototypes. You will assist customers in sourcing and developing fabrics, trims, and branding for seasonal ranges, all while adhering to Design/Development critical paths to meet deadlines through to ex-factory of bulk goods.

In this role, you will design products with an understanding of customers' compliance, sustainability, and testing requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years working in a design role that includes product development. A creative mindset with a strong fashion background and expertise in developing accessories is essential, and experience in footwear would be helpful but not required. Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and strong drawing and presentation skills are required, along with strong CAD skills to create technical specifications for factories.
