Staff Nurse – AFC equivalent Band 5 Due to staff development and promotion within the organisation, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Staff Nurse who wants to make a positive contribution to the care of vulnerable individuals within our In-Patient Unit (8 beds) at ACCORD Hospice. The position comprises of a 34.5 hour week, utilising a 12 hour shift pattern with rotation to cover night duties. The position is graded at the equivalent agenda for change pay scale band 5, continuation of NHS Superannuation scheme is possible if criteria met. We are looking for a Staff Nurse who is enthusiastic and motivated towards a career in Palliative Care, possesses excellent communication skills, and has a determination to support the development of our service provision. 12 months experience within a Staff Nurse role would be beneficial towards undertaking this position. Our expectations are to employ someone who shows an interest and understanding of the concept of Palliative Care, is keen to learn new skills, and has a drive to implement them.
