/ ABOUT THIS ROLE We are looking for an enthusiastic Account Director/Senior Account Director who is passionate about innovative, tech-based experiences, content creation, events and storytelling. As the client lead on the Verizon account, one of the most successful accounts at Momentum UK, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the client relationship. Momentum LOVES working with Verizon. Whilst Verizon has been a UK client for the last 7 years, in the last 18 months, we've designed, built, and continuously brought Verizon innovative solutions to life by enhancing their EMEA tech showcases through cutting-edge, immersive experiences. We've even built an award-winning Sims-like computer game that simulates how Verizon's network transforms supermarkets, factories and entertainment venues into businesses of the future!
/ WHAT YOU'LL DO As Account Director, you are responsible for the strategic leadership and execution of all elements of your client's business, as well as act as a brand guardian. Commercially, you are accountable for delivering revenue & appropriate profitability associated with your areas of responsibility. The role requires someone who can inspire and lead but also offer best-in-class account handling and client servicing. You and your team will sit at the centre of the action. You are the day-to-day contact for the senior clients, key stakeholders, inter-agency teams and the cross-discipline internal teams, ensuring the smooth running of campaigns making sure they are delivered on time, to budget and bringing clarity to the creative delivery. You will set the tempo of the business and be able to think strategically and creatively. You will be looking to add value at all stages of campaigns and will be representing the agency on the world stage and helping us build our growing reputation. To the client, your ability to communicate what is happening, when it needs to happen and who needs to do that means they have no question that we can execute to the highest standards and trust us with their brand, business, and their personal careers.
/ RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the Verizon account, ensuring the delivery of innovative tech experiences, events and video content while maintaining a healthy client relationship. Collaborate with strategists, producers, creatives, developers, editors and project managers to run projects smoothly. Work on tech innovation projects, including immersive tech experiences, AR, VR, and other web or mobile applications. Travel across Europe as required for the account. Willingness to understand the details of our clients' revolutionary technologies to effectively communicate the Verizon offerings to businesses, specifically in manufacturing and retail. Strategic business leadership; crafting unique, innovative and compelling brand experiences. Developing and maintaining excellent, trusted client relationships, and with key Partners, key Stakeholders, Agency teams. Assume a leadership role across the inter-agency team and ensure all channels work seamlessly together. Financial reporting is key both internally and externally: You will manage client budgets and billing structures. As a key senior member of the team, you will work across various verticals outside of your day-to-day work.
/ WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Deep understanding of brand experience and experience working with technology and/or network orientated clients. Record for creating interactive, digital activations or products through an internal development team. Experience working on technology leading accounts and familiarity with digital and/or interactive live activations. Ability to work comfortably within a team of highly qualified developers and technologists. Strong communication skills and the ability to present ideas effectively to clients. Passion for innovation, client excellence, and diversity. Knows the ins and outs of what it takes to develop a good software product. Experience of having worked on global sponsorships and activations. Ability and confidence to manage complex activation projects to an exceptional standard. Agency experience is essential. Tenacious and a real can-do attitude. Strong proficiency with deck writing and presentation. Strong communication, project management and organizational skills. A proactive thinker who can drive projects forward and identify growth opportunities. Not be afraid to get stuck in. The successful candidate should have a strong team spirit and willing to take on all tasks to access success.
