What are we looking for? The Account Director Sports ASO UK&I will maintain and grow a set number of accounts with a focus on driving demand for our UK&I properties and business development. The role will include managing a portfolio of clients, driving group business conversion, organizing client engagement activities, and developing Account Plans to drive increased market share. Drive demand for Hilton, predominantly for the UK&I market. Develop and execute account plans for defined set of accounts to drive increased share. Qualify and develop new business opportunities from the sports market. Create opportunities for client engagement, supporting hotels in the region. Implement plans to ensure overall strategic direction of the account base and support the company’s revenue strategies. Direct assignment of tasks ensuring optimum allocation of resources, utilizing Hilton Direct and Sales Support. Ensure relevant updates are sent to both internal and external stakeholders. Monitor and review the impact of marketing initiatives on the account strategy. Establish and develop long-term effective working relationships with key customers to drive business. Network with sub-account handlers and global leads where relevant. Strengthen relationships with key hotels and align strategies where relevant. Maximize all opportunities by developing relationships with third parties (Sports agents & TMCs). Build, implement, and communicate the account strategies, delivering the expected targets. Develop Account Plans that specify objectives, timescales, and sales activities to support the defined account strategy. Accurately identify the level of influence and decision-making power of contacts in the customer organization and use these to secure business. Represent Hilton at key industry events to drive segment growth. Planning Activities
Develop strategy and direction for the account base in line with the company’s revenue strategies. Identify and evaluate new business opportunities within the current account base. Execute strategic account development plans and support communications of key messages internally & externally. Accountable for the delivery of the strategy and activities of their account base. Develop strong relationships with key hotels that receive business from the account portfolio, understanding the hotels' individual strategy. Directing Activities
Direct the accounts to ensure the maximum level of penetration. Execute organizational directives to Hilton Direct and Sales Support, encouraging achievement of goals through motivation, communication, and leadership. Review Account Development Plans on a quarterly basis, updating records accordingly. Implement account-specific marketing initiatives to help drive the business. Agree on marketing activity to underpin the account strategies and deliver increased market share. Controlling Activities
Assess actual performance versus the target to ensure success and take corrective actions where necessary. Ensure Account Development plan is followed and achieved. Ensure RFP processes are followed in line with Hilton Best Practice. Maintain Salesforce to ensure accurate and up-to-date customer account information is kept. Ensure information relating to customer requirements, interests, and marketing activities is kept up to date through the use of relevant Hilton procedures. Work with the support team (Hilton Direct/Sales Support) to ensure tasks are carried out as directed by the customer. Review customer base to determine new opportunities for account penetration. Supportive Functions
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions upon the requirements of the company: Communicate regularly with hotels to ensure productive and effective meetings are established and customer information is cross-referenced. Attend sales workshops. Involve in various projects to support the ASO team’s strategies. Support colleagues to achieve appointments with our clients for Sales Weeks. Plan and attend the Familiarisation Trips detailed in the account development plans to support driving market share. What are we looking for?

Fluency in spoken and written English. Solid experience in a senior sales role within the hotel industry. Established relationships with existing HWS key customers. Positive attitude.
