Prepare action plans and identify specific targets. Present and sell our services to current and potential clients. Create travel plans in accordance with client’s requirements. Research the best options for hotels, attractions, and dining. Obtain quotations for flights, entertainment, events, accommodations, meeting rooms, transfers, etc. Prepare presentations, proposals, quotations, and sales contracts. Follow up with potential clients to secure orders. Negotiate with suppliers to meet clients’ needs for tours. Follow up for payment collection and invoicing. Serve as a Tour Escort (i.e., 1 week travel with a group in Japan) if needed. Make sales calls/visits to obtain new clients. Prepare presentations using PowerPoint, Excel, or Word. Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills with fluent spoken and written English and Japanese (native/business level). Experience in the hospitality industry (ideally travel industry), especially in Sales and Operations for at least a few years. Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
