We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Executive to support our experienced Account Director in managing and growing relationships with existing customers. This hands-on role involves account management, customer visits, industry conferences, delivering technical and commercial proposals, and facilitating customer communication during contract delivery to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and presenter, both in person and online, with a background in consultative, solution-style selling. This role offers a development pathway to becoming an Account Director. Role Responsibilities
Customer Relationship Management: Support the Account Director in managing & nurturing C-suite relationships. Build rapport and strong relationships with other stakeholders within our customers, understanding their needs, providing tailored solutions, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction & retention. Build rapport & strong relationships internally within Camlin, enabling the timely introduction of functional leads & subject matter experts to customers. Communication and Presentation: Lead in creating & delivering commercial/technical presentations, effectively communicating our value proposition to various audiences & personas. Tailor messaging to suit the target audience, ensuring clarity & impact in all communications. Demonstrate strong communication skills, both spoken & written, to present confidently online & in-person. Sales and Strategy: Meet and exceed annual sales goals and growth objectives. Assist in reporting sales pipeline accurately, providing clear and timely updates to senior sales management. Participate in the development and implementation of commercial growth strategies, supporting the Account Director in achieving sales goals. Support the annual and longer-term regional sales forecast process as part of Camlin Group budgeting programs. Engage in consultative, solution-style selling, identifying customer needs and proposing appropriate solutions. Representation and Compliance: Represent the company at conferences and networking events, promoting our products and services. Travel within the UK, overtime and work hours other than Monday-Friday may be required. Comply with and ensure compliance with Company health, safety, environmental and IT policies. Other responsibilities as deemed reasonable and necessary to successfully grow sales across assigned accounts. Minimum Requirements
Minimum of 3 years’ previous experience—ideally in sales within a consultative, solution-based industry. Must have strong customer service skills, can interact confidently with customers and can facilitate access to our subject matter experts and training on equipment and products. Proven ability to successfully implement and execute programmes and driving performance. Knowledge and experience of mobilising cross functional teams within complex organisations. Demonstrate the ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation. Willingness to start early and finish late as required. Willingness to travel as required and accommodate occasional stays away from home. Desired Criteria
Experience working with Distribution Network Operators (DNOs), Transmission Network Operators (TNO’s) or Renewable Generation. Technical skills and knowledge of power systems, LV and HV Electrical Networks. Experience using CRM Software. Efficient planner and able to work effectively with minimal supervision. Good interpersonal and leadership skills. Personal Attributes

Mentorship and Training: Receive ongoing mentorship and training from the Account Director and senior sales management to develop your skills and knowledge. Increased Responsibilities: Gradually take on more responsibilities, including leading key accounts and strategic initiatives. Leadership Opportunities: Demonstrate leadership capabilities by managing initiatives and projects, preparing you for the transition to an Account Director role.
