What the role involves
- Proactively manage a defined customer base, delivering the highest standards of customer service, processing orders, managing stock, promoting our product range, and driving intern.
- Maintain positive business relationships with customer portfolio.
- Generate orders from new and existing customers, proactively driving additional volume through existing and lapsed accounts.
- Oversee payment administration to ensure accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
- Resolving customer queries effectively, efficiently, and with a high level of professionalism and sensitivity.
- Ensuring the customer has a positive experience whilst maintaining our commercial position.
Skills and requirements
- Working experience within a sales, customer service, or internal sales environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across a diverse customer base.
- Commercially aware, with the ability to identify opportunities to grow sales and add value.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in order processing and stock management.
