Account Manager - Colnbrook - Up to 35,000 plus Car allowance
Job Summary:
We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Account Manager to join our client's expanding sales team based in Colnbrook, UK. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing an existing portfolio of accounts and building relationships with e-commerce companies requiring international parcel delivery solutions. Your focus will be on driving revenue growth by adopting a consultative selling approach that prioritizes understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Account Management:
Establish and develop key strategic business relationships across multiple levels, providing exceptional service including sales, advice, and consultation to a portfolio worth 350k+
Conduct in-depth needs analysis to understand clients' international shipping requirements, challenges, and growth objectives
Continuously improve customer services and support, including providing detailed analysis for key members within the portfolio and personally understanding client needs
Provide value-added services through audits on communication paths and identifying new stakeholders, decision-makers, and areas of improvement
Negotiate and close deals that align with both client expectations and company revenue targets
Manage projects to ensure schedules and service targets are achieved, minimizing potential risks to clients
Complete all customer renewals and uplifts, securing agreement from customers on rate increases
Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with key client stakeholders
Act as a trusted advisor, providing ongoing support to ensure client satisfaction
Proactively identify opportunities to expand service offerings and grow existing accounts
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal teams (operations, customer service, etc.) to ensure smooth onboarding and continuous support for new clients
Contribute to sales strategies and initiatives
Share market intelligence and best practices with the sales team
Sales Performance:
Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system
Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance to management
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven track record in account management, with a focus on growing and developing customer accounts
Experience in selling international shipping, logistics, or e-commerce solutions is highly desirable
Understanding of Incoterms and their application in international e-commerce shipments
Strong understanding of the e-commerce industry and international trade dynamics
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to build rapport and establish credibility with clients at all levels
Highly motivated, self-directed, and results-oriented with a strong work ethic
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
