Account Manager
at YouGov, your core objective is to drive achievement of sales targets for the SMB territory through cross-selling and upselling, ultimately increasing the value of your account group year on year. Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff): Drive Account Growth:
Develop and execute comprehensive account plans, including sales forecasts and strategies, to maximise revenue and profitability within your assigned territory. Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through cross-selling, upselling, and strategic account penetration. Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders at all levels within client organisations. Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on YouGov's research solutions and their value proposition. Manage all aspects of the client lifecycle, from initial contact to contract negotiation and ongoing account management. Market Expertise:
Develop a deep understanding of the SMB landscape, including market trends, competitive dynamics, and client needs. Contribute to the development and refinement of YouGov's go-to-market strategy within the sector. Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including New Business, Client Services, Product, and Marketing, to ensure seamless client experiences and achieve shared goals. Minimum Requirements: 3+ years of successful experience in a B2B Account Management role within the SaaS/Tech industry, ideally within Market Research. Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Strong negotiation and influencing skills. Proven ability to identify and develop new business opportunities. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in CRM and salesforce.com.
