The role The Account Manager is a crucial role that carries significant responsibility, autonomy, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
Autonomous: Comfortable taking accountability for the end-to-end lifecycle of your customer base, working autonomously and proactively to ensure customer health and growth Manage and Grow Client Relationships: Maintain and expand relationships with existing employer partners, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and identifying opportunities for growth. Portfolio Management: Oversee a portfolio of universities, schools, and colleges, acting as the main point of contact and ensuring their needs are met. Commercial Expansion: Identify, propose, and execute strategies to expand service offerings and increase revenue within your portfolio. Client Engagement: Develop and implement client engagement strategies to enhance the partnership and secure long-term collaboration. Problem Solving: Address any issues or concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction. Collaboration: Work closely with other teams, including product development, marketing, and customer service, to ensure client feedback is integrated into our service offerings. Reporting: Regularly report on the status of your portfolio, including growth opportunities, risks, and overall client satisfaction. The candidate This role is ideal for someone who has held a similar position within a RecTech or EdTech business and thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. You will need to be highly autonomous, with a strong ability to build and maintain relationships while driving commercial success.
Essential Skills, Behaviors, and Experience: Experience in Account Management: Proven track record of managing and growing client relationships, particularly within the recruitment sector or edTech industry. Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong, long-lasting relationships with clients. Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of business development and the ability to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities. Problem-Solving: Proactive in identifying potential issues and adept at resolving them to the client’s satisfaction. Highly Organized: Capable of managing multiple accounts simultaneously with attention to detail. Adaptable and Resilient: Able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
