You will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the financial operations related to our UK accounts. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and ERP systems to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Reporting directly to the UK Operations Manager and Group Financial Controller, you will take ownership of day-to-day financial tasks, providing insights and reports to support strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Financial Management and Oversight: Take full ownership of the UK accounts, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. Create draft invoices and oversee the invoicing process for approval. Manage accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely collections and payments. Perform reconciliations of bank statements and financial records. Assist in preparing VAT returns and provide support to external partners handling VAT submissions. Financial Reporting and Analysis: Generate and review financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Develop and maintain project job trackers and provide detailed profit and loss statements. Assist with month-end and year-end reporting processes. Process Improvement and Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Maintain the fixed asset register and manage quarterly inventory counts. Contribute to process optimization and ensure all financial procedures are up to date. Collaboration and Leadership: Act as the primary financial point of contact for the UK team. Collaborate with external accountants, auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities. Skills and Experience: Minimum of

three years' experience

in a financial role, preferably in a mid-level capacity. Proficiency in

NetSuite

or other ERP systems is highly desirable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines. Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams. Knowledge of UK accounting standards and regulations.
