Aftermarket Operations Business Support Salary:
£34,500 - £38,500 (Depending on experience) Location:

About IPSD: Caterpillar’s Industrial Power Systems Division (IPSD) designs, tests and manufactures engines that power over 5000 applications including Marine, Petroleum, Industrial Applications, Electric Generators, and Locomotives. Job Summary: As the Aftermarket Operations Business Support, you will build strong working relationships with financial and non-financial stakeholders to drive data-driven improvements. Excellent communication skills are required as well as the ability to adapt your presentation style to suit the audience's needs. What You Will Do: Manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting of Capital Expenditure for the Aftermarket Team Perform variance analysis to present key messages to both financial and non-financial senior leaders Support financial analysis for Remanufacturing activity in the Aftermarket Collaborate on improving the understanding of monthly results and processes Drive continuous improvements while maintaining a strong controls environment Support strategic initiatives around data analysis and standardisation What You Have: Demonstrated working knowledge of: Working toward or completed Professional Certification (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) or qualified by experience Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to summarise and communicate to management/non-finance customers Problem Solving: Experience of process improvements and Lean mindset demonstrated in previous roles Effective Communication: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Attention to Detail: Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines Additional Skills: Experience of data analytics and visualisation tools such as MS PowerBI, MS PowerApps, or Alteryx Experience of accounting within a manufacturing environment and/or global matrix organisations Experienced user of Microsoft Office Additional Information: Hybrid working week, 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
