Business Partner with Development, HR and IT leaders to develop and manage departmental budgets and forecasts. Conduct variance analysis to monitor budget performance and provide recommendations. Support the Product Marketing and New Product Development (NPD) teams with the launch of new products and initiatives, providing financial support and insight on PI models to help drive acceptable Returns on Investment (ROI) and aid decision making. Drive improvements in the efficiency and control of New Product launch processes, including PI models, ACTs and sufficient integration into Financial Planning cycles. Implement processes to drive effective Post Investment Appraisals, including reconciliations to understand the “how” and “why” project investment returns differ to original plans. Lead the preparation and consolidation of monthly forecasts in BPC, working closely with other Finance members to gather relevant data and insights. Play a key role in the preparation and submission of Financial Plan, ensuring timely and accurate completion of packs. Mentor junior finance team members to drive best practice Business Partnering leveraging analytical, communication and strategic thinking skills. Aligned to the business’s culture and strategic plan, seek continuous improvement in all areas of work to improve efficiency, control and reduce manual/non-valued added work through automation and other initiatives. Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail. Be able to work under general supervision and to tight deadlines. Professional knowledge and skill. Qualified CIMA / ACCA / ACA. SAP and BPC experience would be advantageous. Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
