A project-focused engineering business, implementing innovative systems across multiple industries is seeking to employ an experienced Accountant to cover all aspects of month end, reporting into a Group Financial Controller. The role responsibilities will be:
Work with the Group Financial Controller in an entrepreneurial fast-moving environment to support closing and managing projects Sales Ledger across the group, ensuring effective credit collections Month end closure: accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, balance sheet balances reconciliation Responsible for intercompany recharges, monthly reconciliations and foreign exchange updates Costs allocation across the Group VAT returns and other statutory submissions for UK and overseas subsidiaries Support in Year-End closure and Audit This role is ideal for a detail-oriented QBE Accountant skilled in month end closure, who is keen to play a pivotal role in supporting the business within a small finance team.
