We have a number of permanent and contract vacancies for multiple businesses across the UK and overseas. We are looking for an Accountant / Financial Controller / Bookkeeper to join a family-run business, with several other companies that report into the one main company based in the beautiful town of Bishops Waltham. HSB Technical’s client is a very established and well-regarded business entity. Duties and Responsibilities
Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and supplier statements Maintain the purchase ledger and sales ledger Produce profit and loss reports and balance sheets Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting Process payroll, including PAYE, pensions, and other deductions Ensure VAT returns are accurate and submitted on time Skills and Experience Required
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper / Accountant / Financial Controller, or in a similar role AAT qualification or similar accounting certification (desirable) Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and UK tax regulations, including VAT Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to analyse financial data Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently Must be able to travel to Bishops Waltham daily for work This vacancy is being advertised by HSB Technical who have been appointed to act as the recruitment consultancy for this role.
