We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper and Accounts Assistant capable of taking ownership of key responsibilities within the accounts team. Key Responsibilities: Manage the accounts inbox and efficiently handle queries. Process payments, invoices, receipts, and income with attention to detail. Accurately input financial data to streamline invoice processing. Perform regular account reconciliations using Xero, ensuring compliance and accuracy. Process employee expense claims, verifying documentation and approvals. Support the accountant with administrative tasks and assist in preparing annual accounts. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong willingness to learn and grow within bookkeeping and accounts. Quick adaptability to new software, including Construction Management Software. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to liaise effectively. Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and processes. Familiarity with VAT and CIS requirements (training provided if necessary). Experience working with Xero is a plus but not mandatory.
