Job Description:
Payroll
To manage and oversee payroll processing across multiple companies for approximately 500 employees per month including dealing with statutory payments and resolving any queries. Administration of RTI and NEST. To provide technical support to Payroll Administrator and provide required solutions. To manage payroll year end process including producing P60s and to prepare and submit P11Ds to HMRC. To ensure compliance with payroll regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of HMRC requirements and other relevant legislation. Accounts and Company Secretarial
To provide technical support and line manage 4 reports in accounts team and 1 payroll administrator. To provide 1 to 1 support as required. To provide company secretarial services across multiple companies including company formation, share issue, filing confirmation statements and dormant accounts as required. To assist in preparation of monthly management accounts and VAT returns. To act as a point of contact for external accountants and auditor. To provide cover for other members of the team as necessary. Any other ad-hoc duties as required. Ideal Candidate:
ACCA (or similar) would be desirable. Proven experience in an accounts based role with a particular focus on payroll management or senior payroll role. Experience with accounting systems such as SAGE, Xero and Brightpay. In-depth understanding of accounts and payroll systems, tax laws, and regulations within the UK. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial data. Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across departments and with external providers. A proactive and solution-oriented approach to handling challenges. Benefits:
