Your new company You will work for a successful music merchandising, tour, design and production business, based in their London office (N7).

Your new role You will work within a small finance team of five people, reporting to the FD. Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to): Management of band settlements for the UK, EU, and US, collaborating with and providing guidance to the client managers, providing advice on deals, settlements and VAT issues. Preparation and submission of VAT returns for all European regions. Management of quarterly entertainer/sportsperson payments (FEU returns) and addressing any withholding tax (WHT) issues. Reconciliation of tour accounts/ledgers. Improving/streamlining existing systems and processes. Providing assistance to the FD with reporting, year-end, and balance sheet reconciliations. Providing reporting support for the online store.

What you'll need to succeed

Recent, relevant experience working in a similar Accountant role. Experience working within a similar industry sector i.e. Music/Merchandising. Previous experience in process/system streamlining and implementation. Current processes are largely manual, so you'll be involved in the automation of processes, as well as system migration from Sage 50 (new system to be defined).
