An Accountant with the Purchase Ledger Team who will be responsible for the processessing of Purchase Ledger invoices.You will a pivotle role in supporting the Senior Accountant by inputting purchase ledger invoices to ensure timely and accurate payment of suppliers.Experience of using SunSystems and Procatis (or a similar Purchase Order system) would be beneficial for this position, although full training witll be provided.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to further develop and enhance their skillset within an ever-growing and supportive team.Successful applicants will be required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK from their first day of employment.This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy. Preferred skills and experience
AAT qualified or almost qualified or studying towards CIMA/ACCA.
Purchase Ledger experience required including entering invoices in multi-currency and multi company organisations.
Experience of processing Purchase Ledger invoices in a high volume and high value Purchase Ledger.
Excellent attention to detail and data entry skills - good speed with high levels of accuracy required.
VAT experience - knowledge of UK VAT and some experience with overseas VAT would be advantageous.
Good Microsoft Excel knowledge.
Main Responsibilities
Seeking approval from the appropriate members of Management.
Posting Purchase Ledger invoices into multiple entities.
Supporting the Purchase Ledger team with weekly payment runs for up to 30 Group entities.
Completing supplier statement reconciliations.
Reviewing Revenue Share invoices against internal reports.
Controlling contractor weekly and monthly invoices.
