A successful accountancy firm with a strong reputation and easily commutable from Loughborough, Leicester, south Nottingham and surrounding areas is seeking to hire into a vital job role for an Accountant taking up a Senior Manager to Partner Designate level.
Role
This role would be varied, ideally involving some amount of audit, but this is a lesser part of the job and depends on the successful person’s preferences. Technically this role is broad and includes statutory accounts, special projects and advisory work, tax elements, client and staff management, plus aspects of developing the practice/workload. Preparing, presenting, reviewing Statutory accounts. Forecasting, special projects and forensic work. Client management. Future
Developing into an Associate Partner and future Partner role ideally. Partner status can mean Equity or Salaried – the firm is flexible on options in the future. Due to the future plans of the firm, people with ambition for a leading role in the future are welcomed. The firm has wage reviews twice annually to keep people progressing financially, plus bonuses adding generously at all levels. Ideally, you will have experience preparing or reviewing year-end accounts and tax computations for SME corporate clients. Whilst not essential, they do prefer to employ locally as they believe it greatly assists the work-life balance. Ideally suited to the individual already working in Practice looking to advance their career in a dynamic environment where their efforts are recognised and rewarded.
