Preparation of journal entries, invoices and bill payments and maintaining updated financial records. Reconciliation of bank balances. Preparation of quarterly VAT returns. Assistance with the preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting workings. Assistance with the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results analysis and commentaries production. Assistance with the preparation of periodic regulatory reports. Assistance with the preparation of audit deliverables, financial statements, and Board packs. Assistance with financial projections. Assistance with improving and standardizing processes and workflows. Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the finance function and general accounting. Contribute towards ad-hoc projects to support the finance function. Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years' relevant working experience is a requirement. (if gained in a reputable accounting or audit firm this would be considered an asset.) Conversant with IFRS accounting principles coupled with experience in financial reporting. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with strong practical experience in Excel. Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills, written and verbal. Able to work diligently and on own initiative with minimal supervision. Ability to learn quickly and has a proven history in problem analysis. Be based in the UK and be flexible to work from our office in London at minimum once every fortnight.
