Accountant/Finance Business Partner - PQ/Finalist
Meraki Talent are supporting with the permanent appointment of an Accountant/Finance Business Partner based in central Edinburgh paying £45,000 - £48,000 plus bonus & strong benefits. The Company Over the past decade this business has experienced over 500% growth, with a further 130% forecasted for the next 2 years alone. This growth trajectory will be achieved through both organic expansion and M&A activity. The Role The position can be described as a hybrid role that will be split between BAU finance and commercial finance. The role will be under the tutelage of a fantastic Director of Finance, with access to a brilliant Senior Commercial Accountant acting the perfect mentor figure. BAU Finance: Reviewing and developing processes, procedures, & controls Ensuring a robust month-end close Balance sheet integrity & reconciliations Assisting with VAT returns Overseeing an Accounts Assistant performing transactional finance processing Commercial Finance: Aiding direction and decision making through financial analysis & business partnering Business partnering with non-financial and senior stakeholders including C-Suite Involvement in tendering and sales process including pricing, costing and profit protection Production and presentation of MI & monthly reporting packs Budgeting & forecasting On Offer The position is based in central Edinburgh, with fantastic hybrid working (2 days per week in the office).
