Job description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to join our Team at the new Silverstone Facility. In this role, you will manage financial journals, data entry, reconciliations, and assist with month-end processes. Additionally, you'll assist in preparing financial reports and perform analysis to support decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, financial knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. What you will be doing: Manage financial journal entries and ensure accuracy in data recording. Perform banking entries and maintain banking records. Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data. Assist in month-end processes, including preparing reports and updating financial systems. Track fixed assets and ensure accurate record-keeping for additions, depreciation, and disposals. Collaborate with departments to gather data and verify financial transactions. Assist with external audit processes by preparing necessary documentation and responding to audit queries. Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting process by providing relevant financial data. Support financial analysis activities to assist in decision-making. Prepare financial reports and summaries for internal use and management review. Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements within financial processes. Requirements

Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders at various levels. Strong attention to detail with an inquisitive and proactive approach to tasks. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Enthusiastic, hard-working, and eager to contribute to an open and inclusive team culture. Relevant experience in financial analysis or accounting roles is a plus. Knowledge of financial software and ERP systems is an advantage.
