Job Description
We are seeking an Apprentice Accountant to join our team! You will gain valuable hands-on experience while also pursuing a qualification in accountancy. As well as undergoing your AAT qualification, you will gain hands-on experience across a wide range of accounting services, including audit engagements, tax returns, and management accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Assist senior colleagues in liaising with clients to gather information and communicate on routine matters.
Provide assistance on audit engagements.
Preparation of Limited company and sole trader accounts.
Management of business and Self-Assessment Tax filings.
Completion and submission of VAT returns.
Liaising with clients and producing management reports.
Conducting bank reconciliations and balancing sheet items.
Undertaking bookkeeping tasks.
Key Requirements
Keen to pursue an accountancy qualification and an eagerness to learn.
Additional Requirements
Comfort and liking of numbers.
Experience with Office 365 (Excel, Word, etc.).
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
