12-month Fixed-term Contract. A bit about the job: This role sits within the IWR Chief Accounting Officer team and will be managed and mentored by a Senior Finance Manager. It will include a wide variety of activities: Continuous focus on process optimisation, simplification, and standardisation. Leading investigations within reporting and acting as a key SME resource on strategic change projects. High-quality outputs with supporting analysis to identify underlying drivers and offer business insight. Quarterly reporting of the IFRS and SII results. Operation and enhancement of financial and operational controls with the ultimate aim of safeguarding both customer and shareholder interests. Relationship management with key stakeholders across Finance. Skills and experience we’re looking for: Qualified accountant with relevant post qualification experience in the financial services industry. Pro-active drive to identify and deliver improvements to processes through experience in using the latest technology and software solutions. Data analysis capability is key, with the candidate being comfortable managing and manipulating data sets, and interrogating financial reporting systems. Excellent analytical skills is critical, whilst a knowledge of IFRS 17, and Solvency II would be beneficial. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with other areas of the business. circa £55,000 – £65,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications) Bonus
