Audit & Accounts Manager

to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and technically skilled accountant to manage a diverse portfolio of clients and take on a key leadership role within a supportive and growing firm.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the firm's Audit and Accounts Department, overseeing a varied client portfolio, including partnerships, sole traders, and limited companies. Take responsibility for year-end accounts preparation and assist in the preparation and reporting of management accounts. Assist with VAT return preparation and submission, along with the preparation of corporation tax computations and supporting returns. Lead audits, train and mentor junior team members, and review their work. Manage workflow within the accounts team, ensuring efficient job and resource planning, WIP management, and timely delivery of services. Assist in the production of charity accounts and returns when required. Support Partners with a variety of additional services for clients as needed. For the ideal candidate, a dedicated portfolio will be provided, and you'll be expected to have attained R.I. status. Requirements

About You:

We're looking for an experienced Audit & Accounts Manager with strong technical skills and the ability to manage a team effectively. You should be ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) and have extensive experience within an accountancy practice environment. R.I. status is preferred but not essential.
