Audit and Accounts Manager Exeter Full time – Permanent Hybrid working (2 days home / 3 days office) Salary is dependent on experience We are currently recruiting for an Audit and Accounts Manager to join our client based in their Exeter branch. What you’ll be doing: Assist the Senior Management team and Directors in delivery of statutory audit and accounts preparation 50% Audit / 50% Accounts including Charity and Not for Profit Sector Management and delivery of audit / accounts assignments Oversight of workflow and management of team Taking lead role on audit assignments from planning to completion Review audit files ahead of Director review Reviewing and preparing draft corporation tax and business tax computations including support analysis Preparation of statutory accounts from client trial balance Delivering information and communicating with clients in a timely and effective manner Assisting with senior management team / Partners Building and sustaining key relationships with clients About You: ACA / ACCA qualification with practice experience Experience as a manager or overseeing a small team Able to multitask and prioritise Work under pressure to tight and conflicting deadlines Experience managing audit assignments Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting Excellent verbal and written communication Experience using IRIS and My Work Papers (desirable) Benefits: 37.5 hours per week Enhanced holiday allowance – 25 days (pro rata) (and opportunity to buy more) Birthday leave – take a day off each year to celebrate Study support Paid professional membership fees Enhanced family leave Special recognition Social events Employee Assistance Programme Cash back app Life Assurance Additional flexible benefits – health and wellbeing, protection, lifestyle and financial By applying for this role you give permission for Purely Recruitment to submit your personal information contained within your CV or any other relevant information provided in order for the prospective employer to review your application for the specific role applied for.
