A well-established firm based in Stockport are seeking to recruit an experienced Accounts and Audit Senior to join their growing team. This firm provides a range of accountancy and business advisory services to their expanding client portfolio based mainly in the Greater Manchester area. This firm provides services to a range of clients composed mainly of limited companies with turnovers from £50k - £5 million. This is an excellent opportunity to join an already established firm who are seeking to streamline and grow their business. Your new role As Accounts and Audit Senior, you will be responsible for the accounts preparation for a range of clients including limited companies from various industries. You will prepare VAT returns and will use accounts software including Xero, Dext, and Sage. You will work closely with an experienced team of staff and will have the opportunity to continue your professional development, learning from experienced professionals. You will be able to take part in all aspects of accountancy that you wish to learn, and this firm has a flexible approach to roles and responsibilities. What you'll need to succeed The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience handling accounts for a wide range of clients in a practice environment. You will also need strong IT and technical skills with experience in accounts software. This candidate will need to be part ACA/ACCA qualified. Excellent organisational and time management skills will make you an excellent candidate for this role. What you'll get in return In return, you will be offered a competitive salary between £32,000 and £40,000 dependent on experience. You will be able to work from home on a hybrid basis of 2 days per week at home and 3 days in the office.
