Accounts and Procurement Administrator Location:
Angel, London Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for finance, purchasing, and credit control? Join our dynamic team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our finance and administrative functions. Key Responsibilities: Finance – Accounts Payable
Monitor and manage the Accounts inbox. Process and reconcile incoming invoices. Investigate and resolve discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices. Handle supplier and internal queries. Raise purchase orders, ensuring value for money. Assist with month-end tasks and transaction reconciliations. Manage annual price increases. Purchasing and Order Processing
Place and manage orders for hardware, software, licenses, and other requirements. Ensure timely delivery of goods and communicate status updates. Handle returns, complaints, and supplier faults. Arrange staff travel as needed. Maintain an accurate stock list and manage care pack and domain renewals. Gather and evaluate equipment quotes, recommending suppliers based on cost and delivery times. Credit Control
Prepare and report weekly debtor status updates. Issue statements and proactively chase outstanding payments. Promote direct debit sign-ups to reduce debtor days. Manage the GoCardless account and ensure accurate invoice allocation. Address and escalate client payment queries. General Responsibilities:
Maintain knowledge of company policies and operational procedures. Collaborate effectively with team members and participate in company initiatives. Support other duties as reasonably required by management. Use systems such as Xero, Halo, and Approval Max efficiently. Education/Qualifications: Degree-educated or equivalent relevant work experience. Knowledge and Experience: Previous finance experience with confidence in working with numbers. Familiarity with finance systems, ideally Xero. Experience in an MSP, IT, or distribution accounts team is an advantage. Strong customer service skills. Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams, internally and externally.
