Accounts and Tax Manager Job Overview Client Management – Managing relationships with key clients and an extensive portfolio. Consistently delivering excellent levels of client satisfaction. Team management, support and development – Acting as a point of contact for junior members of staff, supervising and mentoring them to support their development. Account preparation and review – Preparing and reviewing management accounts, statutory accounts, corporate tax returns, and personal tax returns. Team collaboration – Supporting and collaborating with other teams within the practice.
Accounts and Tax Manager Job Requirements ACA/ACCA qualification is preferable. Experience in client management or a similar role within an accountancy practice. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax, and VAT compliance. Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, manage workflow, and meet deadlines. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, energetic and enthusiastic. Able to commute to central Manchester. No requirement for visa sponsorship.
Accounts and Tax Manager Salary & Benefits Competitive salary, dependent on experience, ranging from 45–55k. Hybrid working – 3 days in office, 2 from home.
