Your new role In this permanent Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper job you will join an existing finance team of two people, reporting to the Senior Accountant. This isn't a role for someone who is looking for a progression opportunity, but will suit someone who enjoys the transactional element of accounting and wants to be a key part of a small, high-performing finance team. Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to): End to end Accounts Receivable including raising sales invoices End to end Accounts Payable including preparation and execution of bi-weekly multi-currency payment runs VAT returns Process improvement Working with multiple business entities and multiple currencies Finance administration What you'll need to succeed

Significant recent and relevant experience working in a similar Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper role Stable employment history You'll be well-organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to interact effectively with finance and non-finance personnel at all levels across the business. Tech-savvy - Dext and Xero system experience desirable, but not essential A project-based, construction or creative background is advantageous (but not essential) What you'll get in return Flexible working options are available with a hybrid working pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 from home each week.
